Passenger transport tests focus on real-time judgment — disruptive passengers, railroad crossings, evacuation procedures — more than numbers. Hard to memorize because the right answer depends on context.
Railroad crossings: passenger buses must stop 15-50 feet before the nearest rail. Memorize the range.
Do not refuel a passenger bus with passengers on board unless absolutely necessary, and never inside a building — both are high-yield test items.
Standing passengers must be behind the standee line. Passenger count limits are set by vehicle specification plate, not by driver judgment.
Emergency exits must be checked pre-trip. The inspection checklist is longer than a standard CDL pre-trip.
